Sustainable Innovations in Materials Science and Engineering
on July 23, 2026, from 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Registration begins at 1:00 PM
at Simmons University in Boston, MA
for a symposium featuring Professor William Dichtel (Northwestern University) as our keynote speaker.
Over the past decade, materials science has grown significantly, with a thriving research and industrial ecosystem emerging in the Northeast U.S. The scientific program will center on sustainability as a unifying theme, highlighting cutting-edge chemistry that addresses pressing environmental challenges. By bringing together leaders working at the intersection of chemistry, sustainability, and materials innovation, the symposium aims to spark new collaborations and accelerate the translation of sustainable science from the lab to industrial practice.
The event will feature invited talks, a poster session, and a networking reception designed to foster meaningful interactions and collaborations across the Boston-area materials community.
