NMR Field Service Engineer

NMR Field Service Engineer
We are looking for a self-starter to deliver the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention, and increases profitability.
Essential Duties
- Travel to customer sites to install new or modified equipment at customer’s facility, provide preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance) instruments
- Review reports and documentation from customers and inspect malfunctioning instrument to determine nature and scope of problem
- Determine source of instrumentation problem, repair, recommend replacement, or other corrective action to District Manager
- Refer complex problems and concerns to appropriate individuals
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients
Requirements
- AS degree in electronics, engineering, or Chemistry preferred
- Two or more years’ experience with NMR, analytical instrumentation, RF electronics or an equivalent combination of education and electro-mechanical experience
- Knowledge and ability to apply principles of RF electronics
- An understanding of troubleshooting techniques and approaches, ability to analyze, evaluate, and assess complex and interactive mechanical components
- Hands-on technical experience with installation, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment is required
- Knowledge and experience with NMR preferred
- Requires a valid driver’s license, passport, and 30-50% travel
- Excellent customer service skills
