Priscilla Carney Jones Scholarship 2026

The ACS Women Chemists Committee, in collaboration with the Younger Chemists Committee, is announcing the Priscilla Carney Jones Scholarship that is awarded to female undergraduate majors in chemistry or related disciplines who are beginning their junior or senior years of study. The Priscilla Carney Jones Scholarship was established by Paul R. Jones, in memory of his wife. The scholarship is a one-time award based on both need and scholarship. The award amount is subject to available funding but will be a minimum of $1,500. For more information about the award, please visit the Women Chemists Committee website. ACS Women Chemists Committee (WCC)/Pfizer Emergent Leader Award

The ACS Women Chemists Committee (WCC)/Pfizer Emergent Leader Award will sponsor eight graduate student or post-doctoral researchers to present at an award symposium during the ACS Spring 2027 Meeting in New Orleans, LA. Awardees will receive a $1,500 travel stipend to cover expenses for the meeting. They will be invited to participate in networking activities with Pfizer and WCC at the Awards Symposium Reception, the WCC Luncheon featuring the 2027 Garvan-Olin Medalist, and the Just Cocktails Reception. WCC 2026 Merck Research Award

The WCC Merck Research Award recognizes eight individuals who will present their research at a
Women Chemists Committee/Merck half-day symposium during the ACS Fall 2026 Meeting in Chicago
and be recognized at the Women Chemists Committee Luncheon. Applicants in their third and fourth
year of graduate school with a research focus in one or more of the following – Organic, Medicinal,
Analytical, Chemical Biology, Computational or Structural Chemistry, and related disciplines are eligible.
This award is open to U.S. citizens (studying anywhere) and non-U.S. citizens attending a graduate
program in the U.S. or Canada. The deadline for applications is November 15, 2025. Apply today! Further

WCC Eli Lilly Travel Fall 2025 Award Application

The ACS Women Chemists Committee (WCC) and Eli Lilly and Company sponsor a program to provide funding for undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral female chemists to travel to the ACS Spring Meeting to present the results of their research. In addition to financial support, the WCC hosts a poster session and networking opportunities that includes the WICE Breakfast, the WCC Luncheon, and the Just Cocktails Reception where they will be recognized.
